Craig Heller is a physiologist and biologist, currently a professor at Stanford University. He has worked primarily on circadian rhythms and homeostasis. He is also credited with inventing "the glove," a vacuum cooling device used to cool core body temperature and increase muscle performance, which has been used by athletes at Stanford, by the University of Miami Hurricanes, and by boxer Sugar Shane Mosley. Prof. Heller still teaches undergraduate classes at Stanford, including Bio 42 and courses in the Department of Human Biology.
